Termite and Water Protection (Optional)

These are optional steps recommended by a St Kitts customer to protect the cabinets from water leaks and termites.

Paint epoxy resin to the cabinet's plywood edge that rests on the floor. This will help prevent water from soaking into the plywood contacting the floor.

Apply a coat of oil primer on all the cabinet backing and seal the joints with silicone or caulking.
